Movie Review - 127 Hours

So, pada hari Ahad haritu.. Aku bukak la cerita 127 Hours, lakonan James Franco, directed by Danny Boyle. This guy directs Slumdog Millionaire.

OK. This movie is based on true story. Franco portrays Aron Rolston, and that guy is real and alive till this day. What makes this story awesome is because it is based on true story. So, maybe ada auta-auta. Normal la tu. Kasi main screenplay. Bagi nampak best. Maybe in reality tak sama macam movie. Tapi at least it is true at some point.

So, Aron, a mountain climber, obviously pi la mendaki kat Utah. Blue John Canyon to be exact, in 2003. The best part is, dia tak bagitau kat sapa-sapa pun dia pi mana. Not his family, or his colleague. So, dia pi la mendaki. And nak dijadikan cerita, tangan kanan dia tersepit kat satu batu besar. For 127 hours or approximately lima hari. You read it well. LIMA. 5. DAYS. With limited water and food.

Bila dia menghadapi lima hari yang memeritkan tu, macam-macam yang Aron experienced. Dia ration air dan makanan dia. Tapi satu hari air dia tertumpah, so... He must....ehem ehem to get water and survive. (Aku tak mau spoil apa yang dia buat untuk dapatkan air, tapi you get the idea soon enough. Now perhaps.) Dia teringat family dia, ex-girlfriend dia, adik perempuan dia yang nak berkahwin and some other life experiences. Dia pun even bermimpi tiba-tiba hujan and dia terlepas dari tersepit and went to his ex's house. Pressure and exhaustion can do a lot to your mind. Be wary of that.

So, dah lima hari tu, dia pun.... I'm not gonna tell you.. See for yourself. Hehe.

Moral of the story is jangan pi mana-mana tanpa bagitaw kat sapa-sapa where are you going. Ini sangat penting! And next, the will to survive make us do extraordinary thing that bila kita tengok balik.. Kita pun tak percaya kita mampu buat macam tu. And yeah, banyakkan belajar survival technique macam first aid, ikat tali and all those things masa camping. Might come in handy. Lastly, aku recommend this movie and please, this movie is not for the faint-hearted...
