Aku nak tulis pasal band Set Your Goals...dan ni aku tulis tanpa tengok mana-mana..so, it's just my 2 cents..
Band ni aku mula perasan waktu tengok videoclip A Day To Remember - All I Want. First of all, lagu ni best. Memang kena dengan jiwa remaja. The best part of the videoclip is that it has an awesome list of cameos from famous bands such as Silverstein, Vic Fuentes of Pierce The Veil, Pete Wentz of Fall Out Boy, Matt Heafy of Trivium, Andrew WK (read: Party Hard) and many more. Mostly from metal bands. And band ni diwakili oleh 2 orang vokalis untuk videoclip ni. Depa ni ada kat ujung-ujung videoclip, muka jinak. Kira senang gila la nak spot. Sapa pernah tengok video ni mesti perasan. Tu yang buat aku nak taw depa ni main muzik macamana.
First aku try search Youtube untuk videoclip band SYG. Aku rasa first lagu aku dengaq dan tengok adalah “Gaia Bleeds (Make Way For Man)”. Lagu ni pasal pencemaran yang berleluasa dengan perang nuklear disebabkan sikap manusia itu sendiri. Awesome part waktu lepas second chorus. Distorted vocal + awesome music = WIN!
Second aku try dengar “The Few That Remain”. Lagu ni featuring Hayley Williams of Paramore. Lagu ni macam sorang yang depa respek yang bersama-sama join perjuangan depa tiba-tiba tak mau tau dah pasal perjuangan depa. Kira macam the mighty who fell from grace. Sama macam kes Harvey Dent aka Two Face dari The Dark Knight. Dulu baik terus jadi evil. And this song memang best untuk sing along.
Third aku dengar “This Will Be The Death of Us” . Awesome bass waktu opening lagu ni. Nuff said! And aku recommend dengar “Our Ethos : A Legacy to Pass On” featuring Chad Gilbert of New Found Glory. Lagu ni kira encouraging untuk menaikkan semangat bagi depa yang nak berjuang and terus berjuang dengan cara bagi golongan muda teruskan legasi.
So, aku dah dengar satu album depa iaitu “This Will Be The Death Of Us . Not bad. Boleh dengar bagi peminat melodic hardcore. Music dia best. Lyrics dia meaningful. Kira macam rebellious la band ni. Melawan 'The Man". So pi Youtube search “Gaia Bleeds” dengan “This Will Be The Death of Us” and give me your verdict!
